Another Meetup this time at the Royal Ontario Museum. The exterior looks like a meteorite crashed through a heritage building. Maybe the design works for some, I find it to be weirdly out of place. A bunch of people showed up to this one and we got partnered up with different people to work with. Images shot on X100F. Models: Lincoln, Thomas, and Tiphanie.
The Bluffs
I went to a Meetup in Toronto for portrait photography out at the Scarborough Bluffs this past Monday. I didn’t know what to expect because the forecast was calling for likely rain. The shoot ended up involving harsh light, bright poppy colours, and lots of shadows. At the mercy of the weather and other beachgoers, I had to work off the cuff and think through the feeling of the shoot and make do with what I was given. I ended up really loving the rocky beach and lush colours.
